Le Fraghe Garganega

On the SE corner of Lake Garda (ahem! the largest lake in Italy) is the region and town of Bardolino. Even better, it’s home to the amazing Matilde and her amazing vineyards, family & wines! Our heroine in this story makes amazing wine from restored vineyards - word is that when she took over her family vineyards and stopped all the spraying, etc. the wild strawberries came back and the vineyards were restored to their glory - cheesy story but legit and REAL- I've walked in those vineyards and I can say with confidence - HELL YEA! drink this wine!!

This yummy is hand harvested, fermented and aged in stainless steel (keeping it crushable!) to truly represent the region, the grape & summer! The vineyards are very near the lake itself, in the town of Bardolino. ‘Camporengo’ is the name of the small area where this magical grape is organically farmed.

Le Fraghe Garganega is fresh with golden delicious apples and stone fruit! the Second sip = herbaceous notes and some raw almond minerality and wild herbs - an incredibly Rich mouthfeel and bright acidity demands another sip until….oops - I need another glass! way Too complicated to be a simple summer wine but way too YUMMY to think too long about it - this delish is for daily drinking & the price point will have you wishing you had bought a case not just a bottle or two!
